ANKIT ROY

Ankit is a distinguished legal professional with about decade long experience practicing at the highest levels of the Indian legal system. Holding a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Delhi, he is an Advocate-on-Record at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Currently, Ankit serves as the Standing Counsel for the Government of Assam at the Supreme Court and the National Human Rights Commission. Ankit is also empanelled as Government Pleader for the Government of India at the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.

Ankit’s legal practice is diverse, covering constitutional issues, company law, customs and excise law, arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy, environmental law, and criminal law. His work spans various judicial forums, including the Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, PMLA Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, and the National Green Tribunal.

In the corporate legal domain, Ankit has significant experience with cases in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). His expertise includes handling insolvency and bankruptcy matters, company disputes, and regulatory issues. Ankit’s proficiency in corporate law enables him to provide strategic solutions and represent clients in critical corporate litigations.
