Akshay is an advocate with about eight years of experience in litigation and in the sports sector. Akshay served as a legal counsel with the Sports Legal Services, Disciplinary and Governance unit of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Malaysia. During this time, Akshay also served as the Deputy Secretary to the AFC Judicial Bodies, representing the AFC before the Court of Arbitration for Sport on multiple occasions.
Holding a Bachelor of Laws from Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida and a Masters in International Sports Law from ISDE, Madrid, Spain, Akshay comes with an experience in litigation before various judicial forums, including the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and the District Courts of Delhi/NCR. In addition, Akshay is well versed with corporate commercial transactions and international sports arbitration having worked in multiple jurisdictions in South Asia and Europe.
